Electrical Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to provide expert electrical, mechanical and maintenance support across our operations in Western Australia.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, with extensive experience in PLCs, DC Drivers and Soft Starters. A full Electrical Licence is required, along with a proven track record of fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing electrical and mechanical support to our workshop and various sites nationwide.
  • Assisting in the commissioning, setup and demobilisation of rigs and equipment on our sites.
  • Guiding and assisting in the development of team members onsite, working closely with operations and frontline employees.

Requirements:

  • A full Electrical Licence.
  • Extensive experience as an Electrical Specialist, with solid knowledge of PLCs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DC Drivers and Soft Starters.
  • Strong fault-finding abilities.
  • Preferred experience in Atlas Copco and Sandvik Raisebore Drill Rigs.
  • A willingness to work in remote and harsh environments and previous FIFO work experience desired.
  • A collaborative approach within a diverse environment with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • The ability to work independently, being pro-active and well-organized.
