About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Technology Leader to join our team in ACT, QLD, SA, VIC as a Technical Delivery Manager. As a key member of our embedded team with a prestigious Government client, you will play a crucial role in delivering end-to-end services and supporting them in production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Development: Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.
  • Project Management: Manage scope of projects from inception to closure.
  • Implementation Planning: Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
  • Technical Excellence: Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
  • Process Efficiency: Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost-effective.
  • Leadership: Provide technical direction and leadership.
  • Best Practices: Ensure technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks related to the technical delivery.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery. You should also have significant knowledge and experience implementing the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Essential Eight and the applicable Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment.

You will have a proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs, from project definition to product delivery/demonstration. Experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments is also essential.
