About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Visual Merchandiser to join our team at Country Road Group. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for executing visual merchandising in line with brand standards and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute floor moves in conjunction with store/department managers to maximize sale opportunities and maintain brand standards.
  • Balance commercial and visual needs of the business when implementing merchandising or displays.
  • Provide support to store teams by assisting in their training and development needs in relation to visual merchandising.
  • Build relationships with key personnel in Myer and DJ's, and provide training on VM and Country Road standards where appropriate.
  • Ensure merchandising decisions are related to business results at all times, focusing on merchandising for profit.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively both within a team and autonomously as required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a comparable VM role, both in-store and apparel-based divisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze the business and take appropriate action.
  • Ability to build relationships easily with stakeholders across the business.
  • Experience in the retail industry, with an acute sense of personal style and presentation.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
