Opportunity for a Clinician in Community Mental Health

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a clinician in community mental health. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients in their homes, providing intake and triage, crisis support, assessment and case management.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to clients and carers in various community and residential settings. They will also provide discipline-specific support and advice to the team, utilising a cooperative and recovery-focused approach across the continuum of care.

About the Role

You will work as part of a cohesive and supportive team, committed to the wellbeing of colleagues and consumers. You will be involved in psychiatric assessment and treatment, visiting clients at home and providing intake and triage, crisis support, assessment and case management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to clients and carers in various community and residential settings
  • Provide discipline-specific support and advice to the team
  • Utilise a cooperative and recovery-focused approach across the continuum of care

Requirements

  • Relevant degree and/or postgraduate qualifications
  • Relevant AHPRA registration
  • 2 years post-qualification clinical experience within Mental Health and/or aged care clinical services
  • Demonstrated passion for achieving the best clinical practice
  • Knowledge of Mental Health and Wellbeing Act Victoria and other relevant legislation
