We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Psychologist to join our team at the Geoffrey Pearce Correctional Centre.

The successful candidate will have a minimum four-year accredited qualification in psychology with full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health and behavioural services, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide targeted support and treatment plans.

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to individuals in custody.
  • Provide expert consultation to staff on offender management, including risk assessment and behaviour management strategies.
  • Assist in the formulation of behaviour management plans and case plans as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on the Offender Integrated Management System (OIMS) and psychology files for all individuals receiving psychological services.
