We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Graduate role in Chinchilla.

This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in mining and heavy industrial projects, alongside strong mentorship and career growth.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting a safe working culture across all projects.
  • Performing mechanical engineering design including pumping, piping, and structural components.
  • Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian Standards and industry best practices.
  • Using engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, SPACE GASS, Pipe Flow Expert, AutoPIPE, or similar.
  • Conducting engineering audits and reviews, preparing reports, and delivering technical presentations.
  • Managing multidisciplinary projects including project correspondence, documentation, budgets, and estimates.
  • Participating in onsite and office-based work throughout project lifecycles.
  • Collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A final-year or recent Mechanical Engineering degree from a reputable institution.
  • A passion for applying theoretical knowledge to real-world mining and heavy industrial solutions.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to communicate technical ideas clearly.
  • Prior site experience or familiarity with engineering software is a bonus.
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) recognised by Engineers Australia or planning to obtain it.
