As a casual retail assistant at DFO Brisbane, you will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Our team is passionate about providing our customers with an outstanding shopping experience and we're looking for someone who shares our values to join us

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a high standard of personal presentation, and the ability to work well under pressure. You'll be confident in your ability to sell products and build rapport with customers, and you'll be passionate about cooking and entertaining

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a great range of products, develop your sales and customer service skills, and become part of a fun and dynamic team. You'll also have access to regular product and professional development opportunities, as well as a generous staff discount.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell products to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and store objectives
  • Build strong relationships with customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Requirements:

  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
  • High school certificate or equivalent required
  • Previous sales experience desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20kg
