We are seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join our leadership team at The Apollo Restaurant Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team of chefs and contribute to the continued success of our business.
About the RoleIn this mid-senior level position, you will be responsible for managing all facets of our kitchen operations, including menu preparation, team supervision, and financial management. Your leadership will make a significant impact on the success of our kitchen team.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with the Head Chef to create and implement innovative menus that showcase our commitment to excellence in cuisine.
- Support in overseeing kitchen budgets, managing food costs, and maintaining profitability while upholding our standards of quality.
- Lead, train, and mentor new kitchen team members in culinary techniques and protocols, promoting a culture of ongoing development and enhancement.
- Evaluate and review team performance, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
- Demonstrates a deep passion for cooking, a keen interest in quality ingredients, and a strong understanding of kitchen management and operations.
- Possesses substantial experience leading teams at Sous Chef level in large, high-volume restaurants with a proven track record of success.
- Shows a genuine interest in developing, nurturing, and training team members, with a focus on building their capabilities and confidence.
