About the Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met. You will work closely with our Chef to prepare fresh meals, deliver meals to residents, and maintain cleanliness in our dining room and servery areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Deliver meals to residents in a professional and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining room and servery areas
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef and other team members to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an aged care environment
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Awareness of relevant WHS guidelines and HACCP requirements
  • NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain
