Business Development Specialist

This role is responsible for managing and growing a specific list of high-value existing Food and Leisure customer accounts.

  • You will conduct market opportunity assessments, provide market insights, competitor analysis, and understand economic, government, and industry developments across the food and leisure market.
  • Provide technical information to customers, Linde, and stakeholders as required and deliver timely and acceptable solutions.
  • Lead business development activities to win new business through a technically differentiated offering in markets like Cryospeed, MAP MixOnsite, StreamlinePipeline systems, Cryogenic freezing and cooling, and Cellaguard, etc.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce, up-to-date with leads and successes. Use Linde Pro tools and Salesforce appropriately to support the account management process.

To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of customer needs and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, business development, or market development, with experience in the energy industry in a B2B environment being an advantage.

You will possess strong work ethics, good negotiating and conflict resolution skills, and an understanding of price management.
