We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in a key leadership role, driving success across urban development, renewables, waste, infrastructure, and compulsory acquisition.


The Role: Senior Associate – Environment Leader
  • This strategic succession position offers the opportunity to step into a high-performing team, leading sophisticated matters with a national firm actively growing its Queensland presence.

About You:
  • A senior associate or special counsel with at least 6 years' PQE in environment and planning law, providing expertise in advising government bodies, infrastructure developers, or private sector clients on Queensland's planning and environmental frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing both advisory and contentious matters independently, with a focus on precision and commercial outcomes.
  • A strong capability to lead complex projects, deliver results-oriented solutions, and drive business growth.
  • An interest in stepping into a visible, client-facing leadership role, with support from a well-resourced team.

Requirements:
  • Candidates must have at least 6 years' PQE in environment and planning law.
