Metallurgical Technician

A leading mineral and metallurgical laboratory in West Gosford, NSW 2250, is seeking an experienced Metallurgical Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with various metallurgical tasks such as gravity processing, flotation, and leaching.
About the Role:
- Assist with sample preparation and handling, including bulk sample preparation for testwork
- Prepare samples for assay and mineralogy, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform particle size classification, wet and dry sieving, and hydrocycloning
- Provide support in other metallurgical tasks as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in a mineral processing laboratory
- Excellent numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and variable working hours
- Reliability, accuracy, and diligence in completing tasks
