Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printer Operator to join our team at News Corp Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our printing presses to ensure high-quality production and minimal waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company procedures and protocols
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to improve production efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and achieve quality standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on printing equipment

Requirements

  • Experience in printing machinery operation and maintenance
  • Trade qualifications in printing or a related field
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work night shifts and rotating rosters

Desirable Requirements

  • Well-developed communication and teamwork skills
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Prior experience with KBA Comet printing presses
  • Ability to provide recommendations for continuous improvements
