Job Overview

PCL Constructors Pacific Rim PTY Ltd. seeks a detail-oriented and organized Estimating Professional to support the preparation of bids and proposals. This role emphasizes strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist estimators in preparing complete and accurate bids and proposals by completing quantity, material, and labor takeoffs from project documents.
  2. Ensure that estimates are accurately priced and meet company standards.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including subtrade partners and suppliers, to solicit competitive pricing.
  4. Collaborate with the lead bid runner to assign bid-day tasks and ensure a smooth bid process.
  5. Document and organize all information related to the estimate for efficient transfer to the project team.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  2. Relevant experience in a construction environment is preferred.
  3. Strong knowledge of the construction industry and bid preparation principles.
  4. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
