Job Title: Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to provide comprehensive accounting and financial support to the Finance Manager. This role involves closely monitoring the performance of expenses and revenues against budget, identifying significant trends, issues, impacts, opportunities, and options.

This position requires working collaboratively with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining precise financial records, processing transactions, and preparing financial statements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts payable/accounts receivable processes
  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Processing transactions, including invoices and payments
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Providing financial guidance and support to the finance team and other departments

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or finance is necessary
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial
