Job Title: Paediatric Dermatology Nurse Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced nurse practitioner to join our paediatric dermatology team. As a nurse specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical excellence within our service.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with complex skin conditions, including eczema, and provide timely and effective treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, registrars, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive consumer assessments, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses within the specialty, demonstrating advanced practice skills.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in paediatric dermatology, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current registration as a Nurse with Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner in Australia through NMBA.
- Hold a current PBS prescriber number and be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- Extensive clinical experience in paediatrics or dermatology, with demonstrated expertise in assessment and management of common skin conditions.
