Job Title: Mental Health Clinician
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate mental health clinician to join our team in the Corio area. As a key member of our operational team, you will provide assessment, treatment, and recovery-based interventions to individuals and their families experiencing serious mental illness.
Duties and Responsibilities- Operational Team Leadership:
- Lead and support recovery-oriented assessments, treatments, and interventions for adults with serious mental illness in the community.
- Clinical Leadership:
- Promote evidence-based practice and ensure high-quality clinical service delivery within the Corio Continuing Care Service.
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for service delivery in a fast-paced community setting and contributing to program development in tertiary mental health.
About You- Clinical Expertise:
- You hold a degree in Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, or Registered Psychiatric Nursing.
- Relevant Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in tertiary community mental health, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and services.
- Personal Qualities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships under competing demands.
- Professional Development:
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practices and research in mental health.
