Veterinary Ophthalmology Nurse Position

Our Specialty:
We pride ourselves on being the only ophthalmology referral hospital in Western Australia, offering a unique and challenging opportunity for an experienced veterinary nurse to join our team. Our purpose-built hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and anaesthesia equipment.
This full-time position involves working closely with 2 specialists, 2 residents, 1 registrar, and 6 nurses to provide high-level nursing care and extend your knowledge in a specialist field. You will be involved in a range of aspects of surgical nursing, anaesthesia, customer service, patient care, and of course, ophthalmology.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Should possess a Certificate IV in vet nursing or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience
- Be VSB registered
- Demonstrate a great work ethic
- Show ability to work quickly and efficiently in a close working relationship with fellow teammates
- Display highly effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Exhibit an amazing 'can do', team player attitude
