We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an OSHC Assistant Coordinator.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. As an OSHC Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and inclusivity of our out-of-school hours care service.

">Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the Responsible Person for the service, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for staff and children, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Managing children's attendance and bookings for effective supervision and safety, ensuring accurate records are kept.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of engaging educational programs, working closely with educators and other stakeholders to achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with families and the school community, communicating effectively and responding to their needs.
  • Providing regular updates on children's experiences and achievements, celebrating successes and supporting areas for improvement.

">Requirements:

  • A qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards one), demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Previous experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), showcasing your ability to work with children and families in a dynamic environment.
  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check, ensuring your suitability to work with vulnerable groups.
  • Child protection training certificate, evidencing your understanding of child safety protocols and procedures.
  • A First Aid Certificate, enabling you to respond effectively in emergency situations.
