Quantitative Researcher – PhD

Job Description:

We are seeking accomplished researchers to grow their careers in quantitative finance. Our problems demand brilliant minds with attention to detail and a pursuit of understanding.

  • The lifecycle of a quant project begins with an idea, which can come from anyone.
  • As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll investigate the idea by immersing yourself in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • You may discover a new pattern that transforms into a trading signal.

Key Responsibilities:

Through your research, you'll work side-by-side with technologists to backtest results and put the trading signal into production.

Once the signal is embedded, you'll continue to do research on the strategy to optimize its performance.

As the strategy evolves, you'll discuss with other researchers, strategists, and traders to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Exceptional mathematical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practical computing skills and experience working on in-depth research projects.
  • Finance experience is not required.
