We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Director to lead our team at KU Peninsula. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our service and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care to our children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement service policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and KU's standards.
- Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality education and care to children.
- Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and the broader community to ensure a strong sense of belonging and connection.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, including rostering, mentoring, and daily routines.
- Collaborate with the Education and Quality team to ensure the delivery of high-quality education programs and services.
- Work closely with the Service Administrator to ensure the effective management of the service's administrative functions.
- Australian working rights.
- At least 2 years of previous directing experience.
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree.
- Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, as well as separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates.
- NESA Teacher Accreditation.
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF).
