Harbison Care is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our residents, with a focus on gerontological care and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents to identify their physical and functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal resident outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance care services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed resident documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in gerontological physiotherapy.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with the relevant professional body.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in aged care or gerontology.
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of programs and activities.
- Knowledge of aged care funding models, accreditation, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
