At Leidos, we're seeking a talented Software Developer to join our team. If you're passionate about innovation and collaboration, this role is perfect for you.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cutting-edge software solutions to complex problems;
- Participate in agile story mapping and estimation, driving project success;
- Contribute to Continuous Integration processes, ensuring seamless deployment;
- Integrate and deploy complex systems using SecDevOps practices, maintaining high security standards;
- Develop user-centric User Interface and User Experience, enhancing customer satisfaction;
- Research, prototype, and investigate emerging technologies and systems, driving business growth.
Due to the nature of our work, all applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a Baseline security clearance with AGSVA, with the ability to upgrade to NV1 clearance.
RequirementsAbout You and Your Qualifications
We're looking for a skilled professional with experience in Agile, Scrum, and associated methodologies. A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (with software engineering experience) is desirable, but we also encourage candidates with 2+ years of industry experience and a wide range of skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Integration with external systems and applications (REST API, integration protocols, JSON/XML)
- Integration and customization of open source technologies (NiFi, Kafka, Elastic (ELK) Stack, Solr)
- CI/CD tools and technologies, and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, git)
- Java and related open source frameworks
- Containerization using Docker, Kubernetes
- JIRA and Confluence
- Linux and Windows
- Understanding and application of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles
