Structural Engineering Opportunity

ICON is seeking a skilled and innovative Structural Engineer to join our team.

This challenging role will involve working on a diverse range of projects for major national and international clients, with a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in the areas of offshore and onshore infrastructure, floating/fixed platform design and modifications, specialised equipment design and field developments.

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be required to solve complex problems with innovative design solutions, overseeing the fabrication, construction, and installation of your solutions.

  • A degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Structural Engineering project experience from conceptual design through to installation.
  • Experience in detailed structural design on brownfield oil and gas projects, including producing calculations and reports, is ideal.
  • Proficient with SPACE GASS or equivalent structural engineering software.
  • Working knowledge of SACS, Strand 7 or equivalent software is also desirable.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC, and will be well-versed in project management principles.
