About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team at GFG Alliance Australia. As a key member of the Senior Finance Team, you will work closely with lead teams and senior managers to deliver value and influence business outcomes within a complex business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the financial planning and budgeting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial forecasts and reports.
  • Compiling product and customer profitability reports to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Developing and maintaining complex financial models and forecasts to predict business outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and insights to inform business strategy.
  • Analysing financial performance and providing actionable recommendations to drive business improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive business outcomes.

About your experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance or business-related field and membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex financial data and drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools, with knowledge of TM1 being a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with senior management and stakeholders.
