Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge in property management?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our divestment projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering maximum return to our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, property development, and transactions, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of divestment of surplus property assets across low, medium, and high complexity property divestment projects.
  • Coordinate pre-divestment activities, including registration of subdivisions and easements, development applications, planning proposals, utility servicing connections, and minor civil works.
  • Lead the divestment of property in compulsory acquisition, interfacing with stakeholders such as government acquiring authorities or local councils.
  • Engage and manage consultants on property-related transactions, including valuers, surveyors, town planners, and legal professionals.

About You:

  • You hold a relevant degree qualification, such as Property, Urban Planning, Business Management, Project Management, or Engineering, or have equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience working in divestments, property development, property transactions, and/or planning experience with Local Councils, NSW planning authorities, and approval/planning gateways.
  • You have expertise in project managing all aspects of property divestment activities, including land rezoning proposals, subdivisions, easements, community, and stakeholder consultation.
  • You possess sound knowledge of relevant legislative and compliance requirements related to property transactions.
  • You demonstrate proficiency in identifying and managing avoidable property-related risks.
