We are seeking a full-time Hardware Technician to join our team at our Newtown store. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying hardware problems in mobile devices, computers, and laptops through testing and troubleshooting techniques.

1. Identify and diagnose hardware issues in mobile devices, computers, and laptops.
2. Physically repair or replace defective hardware components.
3. Conduct thorough quality checks on repaired devices.
4. Interact with customers to understand their hardware issues and provide estimates for repair costs and processes.
5. Perform upgrades to improve device performance.
6. Disassemble equipment as required to enable inspection and diagnostic testing.
7. Deploy necessary drivers, operating systems, and other software.
8. Assist with data recovery from malfunctioning or damaged devices using specialized software and tools.
9. Keep track of inventory levels for hardware components, tools, and other materials needed.
10. Conduct post-repair testing and calibration to ensure that all repaired devices meet industry standards for performance and functionality.
11. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, developments, and technologies in mobile and laptop hardware.

• Strong technical background with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Hardware Technician or related field.
• Sound knowledge of hardware and peripherals deployment, maintenance, and repair.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable and hardworking nature with great time-management skills and discipline.
• Ability to move shifts and be flexible.
• Australian experience is essential, and Australian citizenship or permanent residency is preferred.

A competitive salary range of $60,000-$80,000 per annum and a dynamic work environment.
