Intensive Care Nursing Opportunity

We are a leading teaching hospital, providing comprehensive care and treatment services. Our hospital offers a wide range of specialty services from our main campus, as well as from our Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse.
Our hospital provides an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services, including cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
As part of our Introductory Rotation Program across Intensive Care Service, you will have the opportunity to rotate across 4 ICUs (Cardiothoracic, Neuroscience and General).
Your Responsibilities
- Provide patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements for Success
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
