About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Emergency Medicine Specialist / FACEM at a leading teaching tertiary hospital in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in education and training programs for junior medical staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures

About the Facility

The hospital is a 550-bed tertiary facility that provides specialist services to a population of around 250,000 people. It is accredited with RACP and works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FACEM (ED Consultant)
  • IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland)
  • SIMG's assessed by ACEM College as Substantially comparable will be considered
  • Doctors that will be awarded the fellowship (FACEM) in the next 6 months are encouraged to apply
