About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Event Coordinator to join our Events team on a full-time basis. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and coordination of events produced by West HQ.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. You will work closely with the Conference & Events Manager to deliver high-quality events across multiple business units and forge strong relationships with clients to further value our precinct and ensure its presence as a premium venue.
- Utilize your strong administrative skills to successfully deliver events
- Align logistics and operational requirements for each event, including coordinating services such as facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, and accommodation
- Display exceptional communication and consultation abilities by working in harmony with key stakeholders to develop elements of an event
- Demonstrate customer focus by providing a high level of customer service and responding to inquiries in a timely manner (email, phone, face-to-face)
- Showcase your problem-solving ability by identifying and rectifying issues
- Display initiative by suggesting ideas and taking ownership of events
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Events/Hospitality or a Marketing-related discipline (desirable)
- Demonstrated administrative abilities
- Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills
- Commitment to a team approach and delivering high-quality work
- Experience coordinating multiple programs simultaneously
- Superior communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation
- Ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of stakeholders
- High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A general sense of urgency and initiative
- A 'can-do' positive attitude
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Availability to provide support/coverage for events if required (weekends or nights)
