Job Description

KU Children's Services is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health Program.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families and other professionals to provide early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with families and stakeholders
  • Support the developmental needs of children through play-based learning environments
  • Administer and score a range of assessments, and provide feedback to families
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in working with children and families, and in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and online databases
