Job Title: Bellman Supervisor

Accor Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bellman Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of the bell desk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Bell Staff: Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide training and support as needed to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Provide Guest Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival, assist with luggage handling, and escort guests to their rooms while providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of Hotel Facilities and Services: Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and amenities, as well as local attractions and points of interest, to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
  • Luggage Handling and Storage: Oversee the organization and storage of luggage, ensuring that all items are handled securely and efficiently.
  • Transportation Services: Arrange transportation services for guests, including coordinating taxi services, shuttle transfers, and valet parking as required.
  • Cleanliness and Orderliness: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bell desk area, including luggage carts, bell carts, and storage facilities.
  • Guest Inquiries and Complaints: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk, concierge, and valet parking, to ensure seamless coordination of guest services.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bell services or guest services role, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Leadership and Organizational Abilities: Strong leadership and organizational abilities, with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Local Area: Knowledge of local area attractions, transportation options, and hospitality industry trends.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the hotel.
