Amentum is a leader in global engineering, project management, and solutions integration.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in project management and the ability to lead projects and project teams of various sizes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of construction packages, including assessment of claims, variations, RFI's, progress inspections, etc.
  • Developing scopes of work for minor and major projects, including annual planning, monthly reporting, contract administration, budget review, and management of defect liability periods.
  • Managing projects, project teams, and sub-contractors.
  • Preparing tender documents and managing the procurement process.
  • Undertaking site inspections to ensure site safety is followed by all contractors and staff.
  • Contract and contractor management.
  • Ensuring safety is an integral part of everyday activities.
  • Assisting in other areas of the business as required.
  • Having technical knowledge of basic building and construction principles.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to be flexible.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Project Management or related field.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of project management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and project teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to brief at all levels.
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
