About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to our customers' equipment in the Wagga Wagga, Albury, and southern NSW regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services to customers' equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve service delivery outcomes
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in service levels
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent discipline
  • Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated OEM equipment experience
  • Excavator-specific diagnosis is highly beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
