About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Lead to join our team in Perth, WA or Brisbane, QLD. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of freight logistics across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with carriers and Customs & Trade compliance colleagues to ensure seamless freight operations.
  • Manage 3PL relationships and negotiate with new vendors to ensure compliance with trade processes, safety standards, and agreements.
  • Participate in Freight RFQs and continuously improve freight processes and procedures.
  • Manage freight-related tasks in TMS (Blue Yonder) and support various projects related to freight.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in freight management or logistics operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to operate independently and in a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deal effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP) and TMS (Blue Yonder) systems, as well as Microsoft tools such as MS Excel.
  • Ability to adjust to various tailor-made transportation management systems.
