Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and other stakeholders
  • Answer phone calls and maintain the appointment calendar for our practice
  • Ensure patients are offered a seamless service with correct preparation, quotes, and appointment times
  • Bill patients, process invoices to Medicare and OSHC, and process payments via EFTPOS
  • Assist with back-office activities such as stationery orders
Requirements
  • Medical Imaging or Medical reception experience (preferable but not essential)
  • Previous experience using the COMRAD radiology information system (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated sound accuracy with keyboard skills and use of standard software packages
  • Provide compassionate patient care and outstanding customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Be a motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills who pride themselves on their meticulous attention to detail
