Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Analyst – Procurement to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in West Perth. The successful candidate will be focused on supporting our Procurement function and will work closely with our finance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Support: Identify, evaluate, and select potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Cost Savings Initiatives: Assist in the implementation of cost saving initiatives and related processes.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop self-service tools and business intelligence software including PowerBI, SAP Factors and excel.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop strategic procurement plans.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct regular cost analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.
  • System Improvement: Implement system improvement initiatives to optimise operational efficiency and align with contemporary practices.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor or higher degree in Data Science, Data Analytics or other relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in business improvement roles in supply chain or related fields would be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Prove experience using accounting software including Pronto, Microsoft power BI, SAP factors is desirable.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Clients, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Proactively seek and accept guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts.
  • Driven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
