Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teacher to join our vibrant school community. This is a full-time, fixed-term position commencing on a specific date and concluding on a specific date.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in a specific subject area
- Assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
- Providing support and guidance to students with diverse needs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Current driver's license and ability to travel within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
