Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity
- This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped maintenance facility.
- You will be responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing and assembling vehicles while ensuring safety, quality and standards are followed at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs:
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues using manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on company assets.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing work duties.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Communication and Teamwork:
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and management regarding any safety or maintenance issues.
- Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to new situations.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- A MR or HR driver's license (preferred).
- Personal Qualities:
- A passion for delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
- A proactive approach to finding solutions and improving processes.
