The Port Planner role plays a pivotal part in the efficient operation of our terminal. In this capacity, you will be responsible for creating a daily plan to ensure the timely and safe movement of cargo.

About the Position

The primary objective is to develop a schedule that aligns with our port protocols and quality management systems.

  • Collaborate with the supply chain team and external customers to coordinate the transportation of commodities into/out-of the terminal.
  • Oversee rail and road movements into/out-of the terminal for both domestic and export customers.
  • Work closely with the operations, maintenance, capital, and pest control teams during planning.
  • Create reports required to communicate the plan with relevant stakeholders.
  • Determine labour hours necessary to effectively execute weekly work plans.
