We are seeking a passionate and experienced trainer to join our dynamic team at Stirling Institute of Australia. As a Contract Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic training to students, supporting them through their pathway, and marking their assignments.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a qualification or suitable experience in Aged Care. If you don't have the latest level, we are happy to support you through the process of obtaining this.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver dynamic training to students, support them through their pathway, and mark their assignments.
- Work towards Stirling's compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
- Encourage students as they complete 120 hours of industry work placement, as placed by Stirling's Work Placement Coordinators.
- Deliver engaging virtual training via Zoom.
- Qualifications and significant work experience in Individual Support or related industry.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or a willingness to upskill/gain this qualification.
- Passion to train and motivate others.
- Ability to deliver dynamic engaging training.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Excellent computer/email/Zoom/internet skills.
- Drivers license and own reliable transport.
- Working with Children Check and ability to take out public liability insurance.
