As a Senior Lecturer at Federation University, you will be part of a collaborative environment where your expertise in psychology truly matters. You will contribute to the development and delivery of flexible 'Master of Professional Psychology' programs at undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as contribute to research, publish scholarly work, and supervise student research projects.

  • Key Duties:
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum for undergraduate and graduate level programs in psychology
  • Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the field of psychology
  • Supervise student research projects and placement experiences within FedCare Psychology Services
  • Engage with industry partners and professional bodies to advance the field of psychology
  • Participate in administrative functions of the Institute

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PhD and/or relevant qualifications in Psychology, with general registration as a Psychologist with an area of Practice Endorsement, and Board Approved Supervisor status with AHPRA/PsyBA
  • Experience in teaching and curriculum development at tertiary level
  • Evidence of research expertise and capacity to support students completing placement
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to work collaboratively
  • Commitment to student-centered learning and innovation in psychology education
