Teaching Position

Marian College is seeking qualified educators to fill various teaching positions across the 7-12 range. As a member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the College's ongoing vision and mission.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and a passion for providing high-quality educational outcomes. You will be expected to support the College's values and Mission Statement as expressed in the Brigidine tradition.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of diverse student groups.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and ensure cohesive learning experiences.
  • Assist in promoting a positive and inclusive school environment that fosters social growth and emotional well-being among students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to refine your teaching practices and contribute to staff training programs.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
  • A Master's degree or equivalent in Education or related field.
  • Proven teaching experience in the 7-12 range with expertise in relevant subject areas.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
