Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Mathematics Education Professional to join our faculty at a reputable school.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team of educators to deliver engaging and differentiated teaching and learning programs for students in Years 7-12.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering curriculum that focuses on innovative and future-focused teaching and learning areas
  • Collaborating with the Maths faculty to create new assessment strategies and teaching programs
  • Delivering lessons that cater to a range of student learners, including those with high potential and gifted education (HPGE) focus and students requiring additional support
  • Building positive relationships with teachers, students, parents, and the community through excellent interpersonal and communication skills

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this opportunity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10, Mathematics 11-12 and Mathematics Extension 1 and 2
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with the Maths faculty
  • Capacity to deliver engaging lessons
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

About Us

This school is located near Marsden Park and opened in temporary premises in 2024 with Years 7 and 8 students, moving to permanent premises in 2025 with students in Years 7, 8 and 9.
