State-of-the-Art Facilities

Our hospital boasts cutting-edge facilities that cater to various medical specialties, including surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, intensive care, mental health, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Recent expansions have included the opening of our new Intensive Care Unit, additional operating theatres, and two new wards.

The Role in Anaesthesia

As a key member of our Department of Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing elective and emergency anaesthetic services to a range of specialty areas, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT (including Paediatrics), and Obstetrics. Our department is accredited for training with ANZCA and offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements for Success

  • AHPRA Specialist Registration
  • New Zealand Consultant experience or about to gain the ANZCA fellowship
  • ANZCA assessed IMG's deemed Substantially Comparable
