Automation Test Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our product development team.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Development
      • Contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Python.
      • Define and review test cases and test plans for in-Sprint testing as well as customer UAT.
      • Design and implement automated tests that leverage the framework.
      • Provide support and integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
    • Technical Leadership
      • Promote a culture of quality within the development team.
      • Identify opportunities to apply automation to achieve process or product improvement.
    • Interface with product management/owners and developers to define and improve requirements and automated and manual test cases.
    • Work with the Technical Documentation team to create content for instructions and user guides for customers.

Qualifications & Skills
  • You have at least 3 years' experience in software and test automation development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and at least one other programming language.
  • Experience in the BDD style of developing test automation.
  • Complex systems comprised of edge and cloud computing elements, sensing and sensor processing communicating using fixed and wireless networks.
  • Analyze system requirements and create testing strategies and test cases to verify those requirements.
  • Developing test automation for live cloud-based products that constantly update to provide higher quality and new features.
  • Interest in delivering high-quality and high-standard products to businesses and consumers.
  • Enjoy working in an environment where you are learning new technologies and concepts and solving complex problems with your team.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
