About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rail Operations Engineer to join our team in Malaga, WA.

Rail Operations is an internal business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in the delivery of all aspects of Rail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to Project Engineers and Site Supervision for construction activities.
  • Assist in planning and document control requirements for assigned work packages to ensure construction activities are in accordance with quality and scope requirements.
  • Support the procurement process for plant and material, including compiling documentation and writing scopes.
  • Assist with Quality Assurance activities and ensure that the Quality Control processes are used.
  • Support a culture and set of behaviours that promote Rethinking Safety through inclusion and well-being principles.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

About You (Required Experience)

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
  • Previous OHW experience within the construction delivery industry.
  • Previous experience working on Rail Projects.
