Job Opportunity:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses in Mental Health to support our network of public hospitals, health services and nursing posts across regional and remote Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the health and well-being of children, families, and specific community groups using a range of health promotion/education and support strategies focusing on the social determinants of health.
  • Choose where you want to work and be allocated to sites in that region.
  • Work short or long fixed-term opportunities, with a rotating 24/7 roster and enjoy excellent remuneration + penalty rates + bonuses.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of postgraduate experience is required, preferably three to four years.
  • A background in mental health nursing care for at least two years is necessary.
  • A current AHPRA registration is essential, unrestricted and unconditional.
  • The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment is crucial.
  • A commitment of a minimum of eight weeks is expected.
  • Both short and long fixed-term contracts are available.
  • A successful WA Working with Children Check and National Police Check are mandatory.
  • Two recent work-related references from previous line managers or leaders are required.
