Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Theatre Technician to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Theatre Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities, providing essential support services that directly impact patient care and hospital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Position and prepare patients for surgery, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Set up each operating theatre with specialty/surgery-specific equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Clean and maintain equipment in accordance with Monash Health and manufacturer guidelines, promoting a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements

  • Certificate III & IV in Health Service Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) or equivalent.
  • Relevant visa with full working rights in Australia.
  • Current Victorian Driver's License.
