**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team at Montessori Academy. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Educators in accordance with our policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement the Children's Program, reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines.
  • Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children, with particular attention to children with anaphylaxis, allergies, asthma, etc.
  • Liaise with families regarding the day-to-day happenings.
  • Maintain accurate records of individual children's progress, particularly those identified through staff observation.

**Essential Criteria**

  • Experience working as a Room Leader in an early childhood setting.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of family communications.
  • Strong understanding of the Montessori Philosophy.
  • Well-versed with Montessori learning materials, the curriculum areas, and progression.
  • Passionate about implementing Montessori early learning programs.
  • Commitment to the holistic development of their class.
